Couple charged with animal cruelty

WFLA-TV -- Thirty-six dogs were seized from an Inverness home on Saturday, June 17 after Crime Stoppers received a tip regarding animal abuse.

Ryan McLean and Deana Feldman were both arrested on one count of felony animal cruelty and 27 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty with a total bond of $32,000 each.


Safe zones being created in Citrus Co. after retired preacher's murder

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office will soon be unveiling new ‘safe center zones,’ where people can meet to conduct business or make exchanges. The initiative is the result of cases like the one of Billy Shuler, a retired minister and avid coin collector, who was found murdered in 2014.
