In prepared remarks, Commander Scott said it’s not easy today being a police officer or sheriff’s deputy or even a member of the military.

"It seems while you do your jobs you still get a bad rap from those who are either anti-establishment or just want to make an issue about what they believe is proper,” Scott said.
