Jury returns verdicts in Gorney murder case

Two youths tried for the 2015 robbery and murder of Crystal River resident Stephen Gorney have been found guilty by a jury for the crimes.

Bryan Robinson was found guilty of first-degree premeditated murder and Tyzick Wall was found guilty of second-degree murder with a deadly weapon (a lesser charge) after a weeklong jury trial.

Additionally, both Robinson and Wall were found guilty by jury of robbery with a deadly weapon, and two counts of Dealing in stolen property -- both in connection with the April 2015 slaying and robbery of Stephen Gorney.

Sentencing has been set to a later date.
