This Key deer fawn was born Friday morning at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park.
Volunteer Joe Dube was able to get these photos that morning.

Mother and her chihuahua-sized baby are doing fine.

Key deer are an endangered species, native to Florida, and are one of several examples of endangered species that can be seen at the wildlife park.
