The Citrus County Commission voted 3-2 to allow part-time county employees to continue receiving insurance benefits until they leave county service.

But part-timers who will follow them won't receive that insurance.

Citrus County is taking steps to remove nitrogen from the county's springs and springs shed areas in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD).
