State adds more sex charges for former worship director

Chad RobionsonCitrus County Sheriff’s detectives on Tuesday tacked on 41 additional sex charges to former worship director Chad Robison’s arrest this past summer.

Robison, a 36-year-old former employee at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto, was arrested in July on several sex charges, including video voyeurism and lewd and lascivious exhibition.

Man reported missing since Sept. 21

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts Paul Johnson.

He is a 53-year-old white male, 5’10” tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Although Johnson has not been seen since Sept. 21, he has been in touch with his girlfriend. He will not reveal his whereabouts, authorities have said. He does suffer from various medical conditions, and does not have medications in his possession.

The Sheriff's Office suggests he may be enroute to Cocoa Beach, or there is a remote possibility he may have headed to Merrimack County in New Hampshire.

FHP seeking hit-and-run driver in Lecanto fatal accident

Hit-And-Run signThe Florida Highway Patrol is seeking help in identifying and locating a suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred Friday night in Lecanto.

Citrus County Sheriff's office deputies assisted troopers with the accident that occurred at the intersection of West Southern Street and South Fairland Terrace in Lecanto at approximately 10:20 p.m. Friday.

Withlacoochee River seen slowly receding

The Withlacoochee River has been reported as slowly receding.

However, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on Monday reported, river flood warnings are still in effect.

As of 8 a.m. Monday, the River at Holder was reported at 8.75 feet. This portion of the river is still now at the “minor flood” stage.

Caution: Possible Flooding
The Citrus County Sheriff's Office on Saturday said that signs have been placed indicating possible flooding in Homosassa and Crystal River.
 
So far, signage  is being placed at Sutton and Ozello by county road maintenance due to water. 
 
There was also water over the road at State Park and Seminole (signs being placed there as well), and also the area of NW 19th Court off NW 15th Street in Crystal River. Crystal River public works has already placed permanent signs there.
