FEMA disaster teams working in Citrus County

The Citrus County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), has Disaster Assistance Survivor Teams (DSAT) working in two areas in Citrus County.

Who to call when dealing with trees, limbs and powerlines

The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has no regulatory authority over power companies providing services in Citrus County.

The Florida Public Services Commission (PSC) regulates power companies in Florida. 

Trees and limbs in proximity to power lines are the jurisdiction of the power company, and the power company makes decisions regarding the cutting/trimming of trees and limbs. Questions on tree cutting and trimming should be addressed to your power provider.
