Top Video: Ancient Finds

The recent cleanup by the Southwest Florida Water Management District not only cleaned the Chassahowitzka Springs, it uncovered history, some of it ancient.

Found while cleaning the springs was a cornucopia of articles - from old booze and cola bottles, to china used by the Spanish, to anchors from the 1700's and 1800's, to bone implements and at lease one artifact from 10,000 years ago.

Phillip Rhinesmith, Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) explains. (November 19, 2013)
